  1. Small tool to adjust screen brightness on nVidia cards that supports 
  2. SmartDimmer. Tested with nVIDIA Geforce Go 6200 on a Sony Vaio VGN-S480
  3. laptop. Use at your own risk...

  5. The PCM register on the nVIDIA card was found using numerous register dumps
  6. in Cygwin under Windows and comparing the differing registers. The register
  7. is accessed using libbackend from nvclock and this setting will most likely
  8. be incorporated into nvclock in the near future, which will render this tool
  9. obsolete.
